Netgear Nighthawk CAX80 drops 2G connection shortly after it connects and does not stay connected.
I bought a Nighthawk CAX80 in November of 2021 due to the ratings on coverage and while it was fine the first month, now it is not stable on the 2G network. It initially connects but then drops and ...

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Is Smart Connect, Beamforming, MIMO and 20/40Mhz Coexistence enabled or disabled?
Try disabliing AX mode under Wireless/Enable AX. Take the check mark out of the box here and select apply.

Firmware is 2.1.3.5
2G was Auto, 5G was 36.
I tried changing 2.4G to 6 and 5G to 128 per another suggestion I found
Smart connect is off due to the need to run my pool Aqualink equipment on 2.4 GHz. Live on an acre property and due to distance it needed to be specific to 2.4 to carry to the pool.
I switched off the co-existance switch per an earlier recommendation as well, no luck.
I tried all of the above before going out and looking for help.
Where are the setting for Beamformig and MIMO at, I do not see them on the Wireless Setup UI? I was told by the helpdesk at Aqualink that i needed the AX switched on to sync their wireless device with the wireless router/modem.
Any other suggestions?

Its under Advanced tab/Advanced Setup/Wireless settings.
I was told by the helpdesk at Aqualink that i needed the AX switched on to sync their wireless device with the wireless router/modem. AX mode isn't needed if there device isn't AX mode supporting. You can leave it enabled however thought for troubleshooting, see if disabling it helps.
Any other suggestions?
What security mode do you have set on the CAX80?
Try the with no security temporarily to see if the device connects and keeps connected. Then try WPA and WPA2. Then try WPA2 only.
How are away is this device from the CAX80? Ft..
