The motherboard has the 2.5gb connection built in, no adapter. I am using the Intel Ethernet controller and driver is up to date. Do you recommend me switching to Realtek? And I haven’t tried any Ethernet cable shorter than 20ft

    I don’t know exactly but I do know it’s a onboard Intel® 2.5 Gbps Ethernet

      I presume this is the only PC with a 2.5Gb adapter installed?
