Netgear Router/Modem

I had to go change the router not knowing what was wrong but chose to buy the same one again and then it ran for a while and stopped working again. I called the Netgear help line and they said it is some advanced work that I have to pay for. That ticked me off since both modems were new. So I thought it was some problems at Comcast end and I hounded them to come and fix it. They came in ans found that the problem was the bug that Netgear sent out a few hours back. I wasted time and money on this only because Netgear customer service is staffed with money hungry people. I have always used Netgear products the past 25 years in my company and in my home. The products are stable but customer service folks really need to provide proper customer service and not look for money in every corner. I chose to buy the Netgear product because I thought it was a fluke and even the Costco folks agreed but I was disappointed with the customer service people in Netgear and they have always been like that. They tell you how complex the problem is and next they say it will cost you money. They don’t understand that they think the client is an idiot when they look like actual idiots. Best.
