If your ISP was Comcast, the download throughput is rated at 863 Mbps for the C7000v2. The upload throughput is usually dependent on the service tier you purchase from your ISP and certainly nothing greater than the download.
Keep in mind, the C7000 series is a DOCSIS 3.0 device.
- Thanks . I understand it depends on the package . I just wanted to make sure if I upgrade the modem it can handle the speed.The max upload would be 40 mbps.
Check with the ISP as well. They will know.

That's part of the key. Because if its xfinity, your upload might only be 40mbps but be getting upgraded with the next gen stuff shortly.
