What model router do you have? NetGear?

Yes it's a netgear. I actually got it to download but I don't think

my router is big enough. What are some of the larger routers that

netgear carries? I have 4 or 5 different things hooked up to wife and

      the signal probably isn't enough

A camera only supporting the 2.4 GHz can only connect to the 2.4 GHz router/access point - so son't worry, it won't connect to another band radio ... even if the installation Apps tell you something different.

The problem are junk installation programs, where the designers and makers in the year still don't understand that the wired LAN, the 2.4 GHz (802.11n/ax), the 5 GHz (802.11ac/802.11ax), the coming up 6 GHz, the long established bit not popular 60 GHz 802.1ad and soon 802.11ay all work and connect into the same layer 2 network.

Please provide details (brand, model numbers) of these cameras, so people don't buy that ****.
