New CASX30S & RMA

Regarding the recent issues with the CAX30 cable modem-routers, I appreciate all of the advice/posts to try and fix it. However, none of it worked. Whatever happened completely shot my ability to communicate with my equipment. I was able to get an RMA approved under my hardware warranty. My first question is: when I set up this new router, whenever I receive it, will I run into the same problem again? Secondly, I received an email regarding my RMA. The email contained a link and instructions on how to set up shipping preferences and how to return the defective equipment. When I follow this link, it just tells me that the RMA has already been completed online, which I did not personally do. Did the agent I talked to on the phone do it for me? I have found my RMA request online, and its status is currently 'pending.' Do I need to do anything else regarding this RMA?

    The firmware that was causing the issue was pulled from being able to be downloaded so the new one should not have the same issue. As for the RMA you will have to keep checking on it or contact support again.
