Hello, So I just bought, installed and had activated, this new modem alongside my Nighthawk Ac1900 router. The comcast dude that was here to activate my lines/modem was super helpful. Installed ...

Nothing looks wrong with the modem levels I am guessing that its in the billing system of comcast they are not assigning your modem the correct code to give it the speed you are paying for and that code is attached to another modem on your account. I would contact them and double check.

Interesting. There may be a firmware bug here. I also have a CM1000 that was working fine on Comcast service for 200Mbps Down/10Mbps Up. This last week I received an email stating that the speed tier had been bumped to 250Mbps Down. I restarted the modem to pick up the new provisioning data and then found that downloads would hover between 50-100Mbps, similar to the original post. I have a spare Arris modem that I swapped over to and that device is getting 300Mbps down on speed tests. Swapping back to the CM1000 I'm back to getting 50-100Mbps. Comcast has already checked signal levels and re-provisioned the CM1000, but I'm still seeing speed issues that aren't present on other equipment on the same line. Seems like this model may be having issues with this higher speed tier.

For CM1000 there is a special trick that we can utilize to check the configuration file. So what we need you to do is go into Google Chrome and log into CM1000 UI, once logged in go to Cable Connection page and right-click anywhere on the page and go to View frame source then have user copy the contents to notepad and provide it to us. The source code will revel info about the configuration used i.e. if it references Blast it means customer is using Comcast Blast connection. Send me a pm with this info and I will have this checked out if the settings are correct.
