Night Hawk C7800 2.4GHz not working but 5GHz is fine

No, V3.01.38 was pushed out by Cox over a year ago .... It has lots of bugs and the Netgear support people have acknowledged there are issues. As a matter of fact, late last spring I was told the bug I identified would be corrected in the next release however there has been no V3. 01.39 or whatever the next firmware version will be. Netgear's firmware page seems to be incorrect. Their support is nothing short of pitiful.

Thanks for the reply. I agree. I see over and over and over issues with Netgear and the 2.4GHz channel not working right. Clearly I may have made a mistake going with Netgear. I should have done a deeper dive.
What I can't understand is why it worked for over 2 months, then all of the sudden started having these issues. Nothing changed on my side.
