Nighthawk AC1900 C700 Slow WiFi Connection

When I'm connected directly to my desktop PC I get fast speed, but when Using the my laptop on wifi the speed gets VERY...VERY SLOW, and I also get 2 bars out of 5 on my Iphone, what can I do to improve speed?

Also checking Netgear Genie, it shows WIFI Connection Status 'Not Enabled" is this the problem and how can I eneble this connection?

    You can go into the wireless settings and try changing the wireless channels.
