Nighthawk AC1900 C7000 Modem Router Dropping Connection

Model: Nighthawk AC1900 C7000 Modem Router

Firmware Version: V1.01.23

 

Hi 

I'm getting random dropouts to the internet. It's occurring about once every 20 minutes for about 2 minutes each time.

 

When it happens I run the 'Diagnostics' in the routerlogin.com Advanced panel and I get a successful ping <1ms.

 

I have had an Xfinity Comcast Engineer out who has confirmed there is a stable connection to them.

 

I have made the following changes:

  • Changed default Admin password
  • Changed SSID from default and added WPA2-PSK [AES]
  • Disabled UPnP
  • Disabled 2.5Ghz (5g only)
  • Moved router location (Xfinity Comcast engineer installed to closer location, e.g. 1 meter away).
  • Changed default IP
  • Switched off remote management
  • Ensured the Firmware is the latest

None of the above has made a difference, is there anything anyone would recommend at all? (Thanks for any help).

 

I need to get this sorted out as I work remotely and this is a big issue especially with video conferencing with clients.

    Here's the logs, the 'DoS attack' is worrying, how do I stop this?

      Is this happening across all devices in the home? is it just on the wifi?
