Nighthawk C7000-100NAS slow internet speeds require a reboot every few days

Spectrum ISP 200mb download/20mb upload

I've had this cable modem/router for almost two years. . Occassionally I'll log into my LAN and WiFi PC's and all of them will have slow download speeds. Sometimes speedtest shows 40-50mb/s, sometimes slower. After I reboot the cable modem, I get a solid 200mb download again for awhile. Maybe a few days, maybe a week or so. Then randomly it throttles down again to 40-50mb/s or so. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
