Nighthawk c7000v2 download speed
I am running a Netgear C7000v2 modem router, directly connected to the wire. Firmware version: V1.02.09. thE ISP controls the firmare version updates. ISP: Spectrum in Rochester, NY, although I, personally. am pretty far out into the contry. I have a laptop running Windows 10 hardwired into the device. and I am using it for all my testing
I was just notified thet I have been upgraded to 200Mbps service from 100Mbps service by Spectrum. The best speed I can get seems to be about 120Mbps.
Had a Spectrum Tech at the house and has tested the line at 1000 Mbps coming into my device but seems to be trhottling it to about 120Mbps max.
I have been trhough all my settings on this thing looking for any way to adjust it; there isn't even any way for me to manage any QOS settings on it. Spectrum tech told me it's my device [personal device, not rented from provider] and just left.
Very frustrated. Any suggestions?

The C7000 won't pull gigabit through spectrum so I'm not sure how the tech said he was getting that on the c7000.
Did you try a factory reset and install?
Make sure to leave qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls during the reinstall.
