Nighthawk c7800 cable modem
Is it a known issue for a cable modem to go out and come back online within a day or two going out? We have had our nighthawk for a year now no issue until October 2020 when we lost internet for a hol...

And no amplifiers in line? Or anything else?
your upstream power is low and its going to cause issues.
And you're log is indicating line/power issues.

No amplifiers, no splitters. Straight connection from the outside of the home into the room with the modem/router is at. I asked the ISP tech about turning up the power as I saw where they run it lower and was told they can’t turn up the upstream power. At that point I told the tech he made go because I had already did the research and knew the issues was the power. The reaction I got was it worked the day before what was the power then which was a good question as I had no need to look at it as the network was up. Which could also be why it works and then cuts out like it’s doing right now. At the end I believe we are switching ISP companies and then have to figure out a new way to cover a three floor townhouse with 2550sqft.

What I've had to do with comcast before is to rent a modem from them for a month/2 to prove that it wasn't a modem issue.
many times they're set that the line is fine.
but they truly can't just "turn up the upstream power". thats the modem negotiating with the cmts for what power level it needs to use to communicate with it. It could be an issue with the cmts.
