Nighthawk CAX30 AX2700
Just moved into a new house, I had a new fiber line I believe that is Cox "Gigablast". SO anyway. I have fiber line running directly into the house at the wall, which is attached to a nokia (dongle/node) which then outputs as a cat6 ethernet connection into the modem/router combo that COX installed.
I obviously don't want to be using Cox equipment so I purchased this. Question is, I have absolutely no Coaxial cable connections anymore only the ethernet cat 6 from the fiber dongle. Will this work?

The CAX30 is a cable modem/router. You don't need the modem bit if you have a cable service that terminates in an Ethernet connection. You just want a router.
Unfortunately, unlike most DSL modem/routers, cable modem/routers do not usually have an Ethernet (WAN) input. So they cannot work in "router only" mode.

As you can imagine "a nokia (dongle/node)" and "modem/router combo that COX installed" could be a lot of different bits of equipment.
The Nokia thing is probably what they can an "Optical Network Terminator" (ONT) with fibre in and Ethernet out.. The anonymous thing from Cox may just be a router, with nothing of a modem nature in sight
My guess is that the CAX30 won't work. Swap it for the RAX30 router and you should have better luck.
