Nighthawk CAX80 No Wifi 6 Network

Hello,

 

I've been trying to find a 6 GHz network on my newly setup (from factory reset) Nighthawk CAX80 modem-router. I have no major issues with the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. I've looked across several forums and websites to see if maybe there are different CAX80 modem-routers, but all say that it should support a 6 GHz connection. However, nowhere in the router am I seeing a 6 GHz network option. Also, under "Wireless Setup", the 2.4 GHz network Mode says "Up to 1200 Mbps" while under "Gateway Status", the same network says it only supports up to 600 Mbps.

 

I have AX enabled.

 

Help would be appreciated so I can finalize setup. Thanks.

    The CAX80 modem/router only supports up to WiFi6 standard. It does not have a 6 GHz band which is WiFi 6E

      microchip8 is exactly correct. The CAX80 doesn't have 6ghz. There was a CAXE500 that was seen in the cablelabs testing document but nothing official.
