Nighthawk CAX80 restore settings from C7000v2 config file

Hi,

I have a Netgear C7000v2 modem router and now got a Nighthawk CAX80 modem router. I saved the settings on the C7000v2 to a .cfg file so that I can use those settings on the new CAX80. But when I try to restore the .cfg settings file in CAX80 192.168.1.1 Advanced > Backup Settings > Restore saved settings from a file, I get "Error: Fail to restore."

 

Is there any way I can use the saved settings from the C7000v2 file on the CAX80?

    microchip8 has answered your question.

     

    The best approach I have found it to take screen shots (Alt + Print Screen) of the relevant pages.

     

    Tedious, but it works.
