Nighthawk cm1100 and Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router
I bought a new computer (dell desktop) and a new modem (Netgear Nighthawk CM1100). Setting everything up like a "plug and play" like my previous HP desktop. Hooked up modem, plugged it into my Net...
One thing to try.
The CM1100 has 2x ethernet ports. but comcast only supports 1 public IP address. Meaning only 1 thing can be connected to it.
If you connected your computer and it worked, then try this.
disconnect everything from both modem and router.
Then power them both off for 2 minutes.
reconnect coax to the modem, then power it on and wait 2 minutes.
then connect the router to the modem and power the router on.
Wait 2 minutes.
then try setup/using the router.
