NightHawk CM1200 only getting 30 mbps hardwired.
I tested my old Motorola modem and getting 130 mbps but when I register netgear with xfinity I only get 30 mbps. All default configurations. What could be the issue? I am switching To netgear because ...
All your current channels are locked.
And the logs take some time to run throughout the day to see if power spikes/drops.
They might have had a signal attenuator on the line or line block.
The provisioning is something they send to the cm1200 with the firmware when they set it up for usage. I've had them send the wrong provisioning file before that caused slow downs. Its why I'd recommend having them re-provision it.
I'd also recommend to make sure your testing directly connected to your pc and try this site: https://speedtest.xfinity.com/
Ok I will ask them later today. I am also direct connected with Ethernet port when I test.
