Nighthawk DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router Model: C7000

I am looking to replace my current Cable Modem/Router, Model No. C6300.  It looks to me that the Nighthawk DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Router Model: C7000 will fill the bill.  However, I have some reservations about it.  It requires:  Microsoft® Windows 7, 8, Vista®, XP®, 2000, Mac OS®, UNIX®, or Linux®.  Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 5.0, Firefox® 2.0, Safari® 1.4, or Google Chrome™ 11.0 browsers or higher.  This says nothing about Windows 10 or Firefox Quantum.  Just how old is this Cable Modem/Router?

Does Netgear have any "New" Cable Modem/Routers?  My Internet is through Spectrum at 100 Mbps.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Those are minimume requirements to access and control the C7000, Windows 10 is backwards compatible.

    The c7000 appeard early 2016.

If you want a more up to date modem/router combo, the C7800 is a good unit. However I prefer separate modem and router units for ease of troubleshooting and configurations.

Can you tell me how many devices "Your Setup (Cable 200Mb/10Mb)>C7800(Modem Mode)>RBK50
      Additional NG HW: CM1100/1200, Orbi CBK40(Gateway Mode), R7800, R7960P, EX7500/EX7700, XR450 and WNHDE111" encompasses?

I suspect that what you have is more than I can handle.  You do sound very knowledgeable though.

Perhaps you can explain something that is bothering me.  I can't find Netgear GENIE anywhere on my PC.  However, when I try to access  https://192.168.0.1/  , up pops Netgear GENIE.  Does it reside somewhere inside my C6300 Netgear Modem/Router?

Connected client devices, I have around 30. My C7800 is in bridge mode so it operates as a modem only since I use other external routers to play with. What I have listed is just accumulation of NG products I have. There not all online at the same time. LOL.

NG Genie is a software application for Windows or mobile devices. This application was a go to for most NG routers and extenders, however NG is phasing this app out and is not supported much anymore on newer products. NG is moving to NIghthawk app for there Nighthawk Routers and Extenders. For any Orbi systems, Orbi app is it's own thing for Orbi. If you get into something NG, Just be aware that Genie may not be supportive much.

You have a older modem so possible Genie was incorporated during this time frame in FW for the modem. I didn't experience the C6300. Check a different PC and see if same thing.

All newer products won't have Genie at all.
