Nighthawk Modem downstream blinking
The downstream keeps on blinking and it shows that I have a connection to the internet but it doesn’t work. How to fix?
usually if the downstream/upstream light is blinking, its searching for a channel.
Do you have a screen snip of your modem connections page? it shows the connections back to your isp. try and get all the info off the page (even if it takes multiple snips).
Also, a screen snip of your logs.
Did you get it activated from your isp?
I'd also recommend removing any splitters, amplifiers, attenuators from your line. Preferably directly connect the modem right where it enters the home. This prevents potential bad wiring within the home from being the issue.
