Nighthawk X4S AC3200 (C7800) configure upload speed?
Hello, I am trying to see if there is a way for a regular person like myself to "configure" the upload speed of my C7800. Recently, Xfinity changed our areas upload caps from 40mbps to 200mbps. I ...

The C7800 isn't approved for the increased upload speeds. The only ones from netgear are the Orbi CBR750 and the CM3000 (not released yet). That's so far.

So you won't get the increased speeds with that modem. The tech you talked to wasn't that knowledgeable about it.

Okay! Yea that was part of my initial question to Xfinity as well. Do we know if that list is concrete? I was under the impression that Xfinity was still adding more models (or at least it seemed like it was being populated over time).
I originally had asked the Xfinity person if they knew of a timeline and they simply said yes / that they would try to provision it.Thanks!

that list is getting devices slowly added. I don't forsee the C7800 being added because its built in modem is basically the CM1000. And I don't expect that to get added to xfinity's list. The C7800 and CM1000 are first generation docsis 3.1 devices. Xfinity won't even release if they're working on the CM2000 which is multigig and has the capability

Xfinity's reddit page tends to get updates from some of their moderators on whats being worked on. I know they're working on the CAX80 from prior posts but unsure past that

The Comcast list of COAM (Customer Owned And Maintained) devices approved for connection to their Enhanced Speed Market network is a work in progress. Devices that were on the list a few months ago have been removed (CM2050V). Late November was the last update of the list. It would be reasonable to expect the next iteration late this month or early next. It could be several months before the list is fleshed out with existing hardware or new hardware available today. As new models are made available for purchase, some of them will be added.
