Nighthawk x4s C7800 w slow speeds from Xfinity Gigabit
Hello! I've had my C7800 for a little over a year with Xfinity Gigabit as my ISP. When I first got it, I was getting wired connections around 800+ Mbps, 5Ghz WiFi at 400+ Mbps, and 2.4 Ghz Wifi ...
1. log into the modem and get a screen snip of the cable connections page. it shows the connection back to the isp.
2. you're using the speedtest app? If so, try testing with speedtest.xfinity.com or dslreports.com the speedtest site can pick bad servers sometimes and give inconsistent results.
3. Have you tried checking the cable on the hardwired device?

I re-tested using the Xfinity speedtest. Results were similar: Enthernet at 94Mbps, 5Ghz at 325Mbps, 2.4Ghz at 39Mbps.
The hardwired device is connected with a 6ft cable that is in perfect condition, so the physical cable does not appear to be the problem.
