No internet CG3000

I setup my N450 and registered it with Time Warner and with net gear. I can only access yahoo, Google and Facebook, but no other sites come up. Is this because they are IPv4 sites? How do I enable that through the modem? What else could be causing the issue? Thank you!

    Hello thme621

It could be a DNS issue you may want to look up how to change your DNS or you may want to call TWC tech support and have them check the signals on the modem make sure it registered in there system correctly. I would ask for there Tier 3 internet support they will know how to help you the best.

Thank you.  The unit was clearly defective, so I returned it and purchased a Motorola.  Netgear support was not very helpful at all and after 3 hours on the phone with three different techs, the conclusion was that TWC did not turn on all of the internet, only part of it, which makes no sense.  TWC helped me reattach my old equipment and full internet access was restored.  My guess is that the unit has a firmware issue, but no one from netgear offered how to update the unit and it was not an otpion in the menu.

Thank you again for your response.
