NOTICE: CM3000 cable modem v6.01.04 Firmware Released
Getting some reports that this version of FW is being seen on CM3000 series modems from CC/XF ISP. Not sure if other ISPs will be seeing this. Maybe at some point.

Yes. And in the case of both Cox and Netgear I wish I could speak with someone, live, and in real time in order to get this squared away. :(

FW was released a while ago and haven't seen users posting issues regarding it. So possible unit failed in some way or something on the ISP side needs to be checked. NG will look into this. You'll need to keep your case support ticket updated.

Well, if nobody else is reporting issues with the new firmware, then it could be a problem with the hardware. My only problem, at that point, would be trying to convince Netgear that it really is the hardware.
When I connect my CM1200, and Cox activates it, it works just fine. When I connect the CM3000, it comes up and the Cox tech on the phone reports they can see it, but the internet doesn't come through to either one of my routers or to a PC connected via an ethernet cable.
At that point, the Cox folks say "it's YOUR modem," and the Netgear folks continue to say "Work with your ISP!" This is what is called "Between a rock and a hard place."
