One WiFi network will go down but other will not and will constantly switch

Hi, 

I am having an issue with my router. Usually occurs with my iPhone/iPad.

When I am connected to my 2.4ghz network, at some random point, the internet will go down. When I connect to the 5ghz, it will work fine. Then, the 5ghz will randomly go down, and when I switch back to the 2.4ghz, the 2.4ghz will be working fine. Its just a constant process of having to switch between my two networks back and forth. 

This is an ongoing issue that occurs daily. I called Netgear customer support who wanted to charge me $140 to try and diagnose it over the phone (since I was outside 90 day phone warranty), but still within the one year purchase warranty.
