Orbi CBR750 connected to AT&T BGW320- Magenta but I can use Wifi for internet
Hey all, I have tried to figure this out for two days and I am stuck. I have AT&T fiber; I went through setting up the modem and connecting the router with AT&T, and they set the BGW-320-505 mo...

You won't see AP mode in the CBR UI.
To configure the CBR for a faux AP mode, you'll need to set a IP address on the CBR from 192.168.1.1 to what the ATT router hands out, for example if the ATT router is a 192.168.0.1 address, then you would set a 192.168.0.75 on the CBR. Then disable the DHCP server on the CBR. Apply the change to the CBR. The IP address you set on the CBR should out side of the host routers default IP address pool. If you can set a smaller pool size, i.e. .100 to .200, then set the IP address on the CBR to something out side of it. Should be good to go. Just know the front LED will be always ON PINK. Put a cover over it or hid it. Like a post it note.

Also, there is no other options for me, other than to get a different router setup? I mean if I show no internet then how can I still be pulling internet though the router, or is it just not going to show a cabled connection to the router even though it is working?

Only thing you can do with the CBR is configure it for a faux AP mode and connect it to the ATT router using the LAN port on the back of the CBR. Would work as a wifi AP and if you have a RBS to go with it, would work as a MESH system in AP Mode.

On the back of the CBR I use the far left Ethernet port and have tried the port closest to power. I have an option on the CBR settings only for router or bridge mode. I do not see a access point option.

I disabled the Orbi CBR DHCP server and ip address is outside the range of the IP pool from the modem (pool range is .64 to .253). So I am good with .1 for router.
Once I got the modem and router rebooted, I started pulling internet on my Wi-Fi devices so all is great there. The only thing that still doesn't like it is the Orbi router Basic Home page shows cable connection going back and forth from waiting to not connected and back, but everything else is in order now. I have found that anything that has to do with networking, computers, and electricity, is pretty much ran by magic. Getting close to Halloween so I figure I can have the witches from Hocus Pocus come check it out, lol.
I appreciate all the help. Greatly appreciated.
