Orbi RBR50v2 & NG Modem CM1200

Have opportunity to connect with fiber optics in our neighborhood.  Currently have Orbi router and looking at purchasing CM1200 modem.  Will these devices work with fiber optics.  We currently rent modem from provider.

    Fiber ISPs require a Fiber Optic modem or ONT. The CM1200 is a Cable modem used by Cable coax ISPs.
