the CM2000 has only 1 ethernet port but its capable of 2.5g. so is the RBK853
so you have the capability of >1gig speeds from your isp. If its compatible with your isp's service.
I'd recommend either the CM2000, the CM1100, or the CM1000 (if compatible)
CM2000: capable of 2.5gig
CM1100: capable of port aggregation for >1gig speeds
CM1000: capable of 1 gig speeds.

Hey, thanks for the reply. After reading further, I saw on the mesh system it recommended the cm1200. Your opinion on that one??

Unless you have an ISP that allows multiple public ip address (most don't) then its kind of pointless.

Ok, thx very much. Wish the netgear guy would have told me that. I thought that and I'm like maybe in the future. We do have a family business but do everything at home and never thought the need of a second. Hopefully they'll let me switch the order. Ordered the meet system and the 1200. Shame they said do the 1200 instead of the 1000. Thanks man!!

Other than costing a little extra, you're not out anything. Its based on the same chipset as the CM1000.
And you never know, maybe your isp will allow mulitple public ip addresses. Or you'll end up switching to a business class line for the business. Usually those allow the multiple public ip addresses.
