phone not working C7100v

Does anyone know how to get the voice to work on this with optimum?

The internet is working fine. I just dont have dial tone.

    C7100V does not support voice with Optimum. Optimum does not certify voice retail devices.

    C7100V is explicity listed as Xfinity certified device (which means it does not work with other ISPs).
