Ping/Internet Issue (Related to Gaming)

 I have a issue with my internet and it's having a lot of bad ping. Such as the game Fortnite, it says that I'm far away from NAE Servers but I literally live in the State of Maryland. Which is in the East Coast. Any way to fix this here's a screenshot. And it's not the Game because it does this to my PS4 also and all the other Gaming things I have. Please, help me no one knows how to fix it. I also, did a ping testing for Google, and it was 162 MS. So this seemed as an internet/router issue please help, if so Thank you so much.  (I'm very bored during this qurantine and wanted to fix this so I can play video games.) Be Safe!

    Maybe due to many other people staying and working and gaming from home now days. More people online and ISP services are being bogged down. May not be anything you can do...

     

    Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. 
    Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
    Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. 

    Be sure you game over a wired connection, not wireless.
