port conectivity

Question

i was switching around the services i was using from one modem to another and so i unplugged ther ethernet in to change it over to the new modem system arranged similar to this:co-ax &gt; modem &gt; switch &gt; router&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &gt; room 1&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &gt; room 2&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &gt; room 3&nbsp;but when i plugged the ethernet in back into the switch i lost connection with ports 2, 3, &amp; 4.&nbsp;i tried the good old unplug it and plug it back in. I tried turning it of waiting and turning it back on again. I even took an electronic duster can to it to see if it was just dusty&nbsp; . . . still to no avail. i have ethernet in at port 5 and port 1 is powered and suplying ethernet but 2, 3, &amp; 4 are stil not powered and suplying ethernet.&nbsp;&nbsp;Help??&nbsp;
