powerline adapter and cable on modem
hi guys, so I have a 1gbps internet plan. but my powerline adapter (on first port) only support up to 300mpbs. if i plug a lan cable on 2nd port. will it restrict my lan cable speed to 300mbps?

Not sure exactly what you're trying to do or with what exactly. First off lets clear up what you're using.
1. Modem: model and firmware
2. Router: Model and firmware
3. Powerline adapter. Which one are you using and firmware on it
4. Situation. You have gigabit internet. Awesome. NOw help me figure out what you're doing with your powerline. Are you using a router, are you just going from modem directly to computer, what exactly are you attempting here?
If your powerline is only capable of providing that speed then that's what's you're going to get.
