Printing using Netgear ReadySHARE Print function is not working.

Hi BodhiH. I had the same problem on my MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.3.4; after multiple attempts, the ReadyShare utility never worked. Even though I received an 'installation complete' message during the installation script. However, upon rebooting the MacBook I'd get another message stating that the application was incomplete, to run it again. After multiple attempts, I gave up.
But here's what worked for me. I connected the printer to my router's USB port (and Orbi RBK50); and then executed the print; when the printer window opened, I used the Up/Dn arrow key to select the USB printer which Bonjour readily listed in the list of available printers, and voilà! All you need to do is to make sure that the printer driver is already installed on your Mac.
The printer I'm connecting to is a Brother HL3045CN, which is located in my basement office and was previously plugged into a USB port on my desktop computer. After changing the connection to the ORBI USB port, I had to install the ReadyShare USB printing app for Windows, and it too worked like a charm.
So the Orbi USB Brother HL3045 now works for both the Windows desktop and the Mac.
Hope this works for you.
