Product Model: C6300 Cable modem router Not showing up as proper network name
I have been having a huge headache trying to connect to my router, It is supposed to show up as "Netgear81" under my list of networks, but I see two different options that are most likely MY network such as "mrpgear81" and "mrp-Guest".
Does anyone know why this is happening?? When I try to connect to those networks with the password on the back of my router it says wrong password every time, and i know my router is emitting internet because it shows that it is online on my xfinity app, i am also writing this from my desktop hooked up to it with an ethernet cable, so i could not write this right now if it did not have internet coming from it somehow.

If you're connected via ethernet, just log into the user interface at routerlogin . com and you can check the wireless settings from there.
That should tell you what your ssid/password is.
