Question on USB port on C6300 hub?

Can I plug a usb hub into my C6300 and then plug two 5 tb externals into the hub nad be bale to access them both using Windows? I don't think my Sony X700 bluray player will be able to see this either.

    Potentially yes?

    Reason I say potentially is I've seen people able to do it and then others where it caused issues. 

    And I've even seen it where 1 drive caused issues.

    I use an 8TB USB Seagate Backup Plus Hub drive with two USB ports on the front. Windows happily shows devices plugged into these drives.
