R7000 and C3700 combo
Hello,
Please forgive my naïveté. I have been using the C3700 as modem and wifi router for home use. I was just gifted a R7000. Would using the C3700 as only a modem and attaching the R7000 increase performance in any way? Is this a combo that would increase functionality? Are there any potential pitfalls in this combination?
Thanks!

One of two ways use the r700 as a access point or place the c3700 modem/router into a bridge mode and use the r7000 as a normal router, placing the c3700 into a bridge mode only the modem feature will work and allow the r7000 to be a full feature router.

- ams535AspirantThank you for that suggestion. To use the c3700 as bridge, I can set that up through my router login.net

Glad to help wish the best of luck.
