If you are sure that you are connected to the Netgear, then routerlogin.net should work. If it's not working, then you can always connect to its IP address. The default IP address is 192.168.1.1.
Maybe the 5th time was the charm...
I unplugged everything (again) but this time I pressed the factory reset button, the hooked everything up again. I also made sure any vpn was disconnected ... finally this time when I went to the login website, it worked.
Hopefully it will keep working. I do appreciate your assistance.
