I just had this issue on my CM2000 that is less than 5 months old. All lights flashing rapidly with no comms. I attempted every reset mode available without success. I am not familiar with Netgea...
So does the modem continue to flash like this even if you disconnect the COAX cable from the modem?
Can you access the modems web page at 192.168.1.1 with a wired PC connected directly to the modem?
