i have the same model router with 1GBps upload/download on a dedicated line and also cannot manage to get anywhere near the speed provided by my ISP.

I see you are new here. Welcome aboard.
You have tagged on to someone else's thread. No matter how hard you try, your details are different.
Recommend you start a new thread and include details like the name brand and model number of your modem and the same for your router. Also include the firmware version numbers (the latest is not a number) for each. Then provide a description of your problem in the first post. That way it is not buried at the end of another thread!
