C6300 cable modem/router. I am having the same issue as everyone else. 6 months old, Time/Warner. 5 GHz quit working, both light and wireless. Just got off the phone with tech support that wants me to pay 120.00 for one year of "premium" service if they fix it. This has a 1 year warranty and nothing in the purchase from NewEgg said it basically disappears after 90 days. I have filed a complaint with NewEgg. BTW, I have done all of the things the other posters suggested to no avail.

    Have you talked to TWC tech support I know that when they add modems to your account if they use the wrong codes in there billing system it can disable the wireless may want to try and contact them and see if that may be the case. hope to hear your feedback
