Re: Slower Internet Speed with New CM2000 Cable Modem
Hello. I'm experiencing the same issue. All cables are new and CAT 6. CM2000 modem. Orbi RBR850 router with the latest firmware (updated today, 6/20/2024). When connected directly to the model -> 1 Gbps. When connected to the router, 300 Mbps. It was an expensive router 3 years ago. I hope that buying a new router isn't the only solution to this issue. How can I get assistance on this?

Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.
How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
