ready share ip issue

I have a c6300 cable modem/router/wifi. i am trying to hook up a TP-Link Outdoor Access Point to it. I cannot log into the Access Point control. My suspicion is that my C6300 is taking the IP address for the AP. When I run IP Scanner it notes the router at xxx.xxx.0.1 and at the xxx.xxx.0.254 position as "readyshare.routerlogin,net". This is also the same IP address that the AP starts at. Is there a way to move the readyshare to a different IP address. The computer is a MacPro running 10.11.6 if that matters. Thanks.

    Hello rwtroxel

No way to change the ready share Ip but are you able to change the IP on the AP?
