Reconnecting

Netgear model C7000

Rearranging office & router was accidently unplugged.  Needed to reconnect to search. Followed suggestion to clear history in Chrome.  Works with usual email but when trying to log into other sites, the NetGear page appears.  I recleared history, etc. logged into usual sites but a new site takes me back to Netgear. 

What am I missing...FYI...I am technologically challenged...

Any help is much appreciated.

    do you have a screensnip of the cable connections page and event logs? 

    Try a different DNS Server. Here's a few for ipv4. Also remember to change the ipv6 dns server if ipv6 is enabled
    CloudFlare 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
    GoogleDNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
