Recover my password?

Somehow our wifi password got changed. I don’t know it and I need to connect a new device. How can I recover the password for the wifi?? Thanks!

If you know the password to log in to the user interface, you can log in and go to wireless settings and look.

 

If you do not have the password for the user interface, you may have to do a firmware default reset and reconfigure from scratch.

 

Did you answer the security questions to recover your user interface password?

 

What model number is your cable modem/router?  (Look on the label)

    The CM1100 is a stand alone modem device only.  No Wi-Fi and no Wi-Fi password.

     

    The CM1100 has an Ethernet cord connected to the output port.  Follow it to the next device it is connected to.  Look at the label.  What is the model number?
