Remote access and parental control
Hello. Non-techy mom here. I have a Nighthawk AC 1900 c7000 cable modem router. I want to be able to shut down my son's wifi access on his tablet when he comes home after school. I have downloaded and registered on the Genie App. When I go the enable the Remote Access slide button, it tells me that "this router does not support remote access". I have read the user manual from the Netgear website and it does not indicate that this is a true thing, but it tells me how to do it. Any suggestions?

See if there is Remote Management feature found under Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Administration or Under Advanced Tab/Administration any place.
