Remote Management
Is the Nighthawk capable of being remote managed or not? I can't get a straight answer. I want the ability to reboot router from iPhone while out of town. Who can answer this and how? Please

Definitively possible - permitting your Nightawk router is supported by the Nighthawk App, and having linked the Nightawk App to oyur [My]Netgear Account following the initial installation:
While on the device local [W]LAN ... How do I enable remote access on my router using the Nighthawk app?
Now the device registered does show up in the Remote Management - Your Products list.
While connected remotely (or locally) click on the big device icon on top - find Router Settings and a red [Reboot] button.

Incorrect, I have a Nighthawk C7000 device. Not in Netgear list for that app. I'm currently using NO-IP as DNS Service and it works. Can someone point me to correct setup for app to remote connect and reboot router? thanks

_Which_ "the Nighthawk"?

An actual model number usually works better than an ambiguous
marketing description. Not "C7000v2"?Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Remote Management".- Fix1tN0wApr 09, 2019Aspirant
1. see attached image from my Router Model number. I listed this in my first post and you told me find the Model number.
2. I have the PDF users manual, its useless for what I want to accomplish

Afraid, the model information is not visible in all views, for example on the mobile browser view it's not. Sorry for that rant then.
So head for the Genie App - as long as it remains available - it does what you want.
- schumakuApr 09, 2019Guru - Experienced UserWell, I clearly wrote "permitting your Nightawk router is supported by the Nighthawk App, ..."
There is no Cnnnn (Cable) or Dnnnn (xDSL) router model listed - for your reference, here comes the link https://kb.netgear.com/000055505/Which-products-support-the-NETGEAR-Nighthawk-app
Neither here nor in the links Ice provided before is any C7000 model listed under the "This article applies to..."
Instead of bashing you are kindly requested to provide the necessary information from the beginning. If you would have done before, the answer would be a simple "No.".
What a waste of time!
PS. DDNS service is completely unrelated - it won't help with the Nighthawk App. But instead, you might consider to expose your router Web based remote management to the wild Internet and just use your Web browser based Genie instead. Good luck!
PPS. alternate you might want to try the Netgear Genie App - legacy and no longer maintained - here your C7000 is listed https://kb.netgear.com/24686/Which-NETGEAR-home-router-models-can-I-manage-using-the-NETGEAR-genie-app
