Replaced Spectrum equipment with Netgear Nighthawk C7000v2 and now have only half speeds or less

Hello all, I have been struggling with my home internet for what seems like forever. Our ISP Spectrum equipment was dropping out evey12 hours or so  but our speeds were constantly at 400 Mbps and after multiple service calls we decided to purchase our own equipment and we got the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 cable modem router, model C7000v2. Not having the every 12 hour drop off but now our speeds fluxuate between 50 and 200 Mbps on WiFi and hardwired. Modem has the current firmware according to website that works with spectrum of 1.02.09. I've seen a related problem on here where some had similar issues and Netgear determined it was defective and replaced it and the issues were resolved. Thanks in advance if anyone has any info on this.

when you post in the proper forum, make sure to include a screen snip of your modems connections page and your modem logs. this can be key in checking signal.

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.
Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
