Resetting admin password

I know the steps to reset my Netgear Nighthawk CAX30 router admin password, but it doesn't address the effects of resetting my admin password.

By effects, I mean do I have to setup everything all over again, such as SSID and Password and any tweaks that may have been done along the way?

    If you change the admin log in PW using the WEB UI and PW change feature, no, you won't have to re-setup anything else. 

    If you factory reset the modem by pressing the reset button in back, then yes you would have to setup the modem and configure it again.
