Thank you for answering.
The router is NETGEAR R6300 v2
The modem is NETGEAR CM500
I don't know how to tell what firmware is on it.
The only devices I use are my phone 95% of the time and my laptop maybe 5%. I guess my Smart TV must use Wi-Fi too, and it's on probably 50% of the time. That doesn't add up to 100%, but what I meant was most of the time it's my phone, some of the time it's the TV and the phone, and rarely is it the laptop. I don't use the wired part for anything.
Yes, I can see what channels are being used with some Wi-Fi apps.
I think it might be the house across the street, because it's a huge antebellum mansion. But it's been there since I moved in this house 25 years ago, and I've never had this problem until 3 months ago.
"The Floyd" has been there in the past, but they only took up a couple of channels not every single one of them.
There's probably nothing I can do, but thanks for trying to help.

You can try moving the channels to the least congested and see if that helps.
make sure any of your devices that can use 5ghz are on the 5ghz. It doesn't broadcast as far and is much faster so it suffers from less interference
