Router not working in India purchased from USA

Hi

I have purchased a router C3700 from United States .I have used that router in USA for one year now I have moved to India and got the same router with me.

I am trying to use the router here but it is not working .It is giving me no internet connection however with other router internet is working fine.

 

Can anyone help me in this.

    The C3700 is a cable modem router, not a router.

     

    What sort of Internet do you have? How about your modem?

    C3700 is a CABLE GATEWAY certified to work with US ISPs such as Comcast, Spectrum, etc and Not with indian ISP.

     

    I dont think many ISPs in india deploy DOCSIS. even if they did, it will most likely be EU-DOCSIS which is european variant.
